Ariel Stevenson is the Deputy Diversity Officer (inaugural) for the Office of Inclusive Excellence at California State University San Marcos. Stevenson has been part of the CSUSM campus community for 15 years, during which time she has worked closely with students to increase the diversity on campus. In her interview Stevenson discusses her impact on campus, including the way she helped get the Black Student Center open through student impact and support. She also discusses her experience as a Black student and CSUSM employee.
